Nick joined Concept Financial Services in 2020 to head up the marketing of the business and to also manage the new equity release division within the business. Nick has extensive management and marketing experience gained across a number of industries including retail and telecoms which included BT and Vodafone. His financial services experience was gained as a mortgage and protection adviser within his own business, and he has over the last 2 years been specialising in later life lending. Nick joined us directly from Key Advice | The Equity Release Experts where he was an Equity Release Adviser and in fact handled our clients on a referral basis.
He was therefore a natural choice for Concept, to continue to look after our later life lending requirements, but with his extensive marketing knowledge he has taken the lead on development of our websites (including this one!) and the promotion of the Concept brands through social media.
Qualified: Nick holds the London Institute of Banking and Finance Level 3 Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice and the Certificate in Regulated Equity Release. He has released millions of pounds in property wealth for clients and an expert in later life lending. Nick holds Member status of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and is working towards his Chartered status.
Personal: Nick is married with 4 adult children and lives in Cambridgeshire but travels all of the Country looking after our clients. Nick enjoys dining out at great restaurants – always accompanied by a red wine (Merlot being a favourite) and loves to travel. Favourite food: Indian and classic British, a great steak! Sport: A keen martial artist having trained in Karate and Tae Kwon Do.
Nick’s statement:
I am so delighted to be part of Concept’s Equity Release proposition. I am thrilled to also be developing the marketing elements in the wider context of the business and evolving the website and in turn promoting our advisers to maximise their client referrals.

I joined CFS Wills in 2020 after looking for a career change in which I could make a difference. Working with Paul again was a big factor with us initially working together over 30 years ago at Barclays Bank. We always stayed friends, and when the opportunity came to join CFS Wills I jumped at the chance. Having spent over 25 years in the motor trade and running car dealerships for over 10 years, I needed to do something different that would utilise many of the Skills and experiences I have developed over the years dealing with both private individuals and businesses. I wanted a career change that would not only be rewarding for me but be able to make a difference to peoples lives. Helping people put their affairs in order by simply completing a Will or Lasting Powers of attorney is for many quite cathartic. For most people, their Will is not very high on their wish list, yet everyone knows they should have one. For many, when they finally arrange their Will, you can see the relief in their faces.
Personally, I am married with two grown up children, but am now the proud owner of a dog (Springer-poo called Albi) for the first time in 30 years. To say he has taken over the house would be an understatement with almost everything revolving around him. We now all enjoy long walks and holidays near the beach for the dog. If Albi is happy, so are we!
